We applaud the Pope’s gestures towards the disadvantaged. Tune into the Gospel that led him to start his visit to Spain through the small door, visiting the Caritas project for homeless people. This week should not be measured by full plazas or stadiums. Leo XIV will try to sow encouragement in a wounded society, reminding believers and skeptics that what saves or condemns us is how we treat the human being before us.
