I was born in April 1937. Besides being from Navarra, I am a Jesuit. I have dedicated nearly my entire life to education, working in various schools without ever holding high-level management positions. As retirement approached, I dedicated myself to adult ministry: talks, courses, workshops, retreats… and I have been doing this for more than twelve years. My preferences lie in the world of parables, and my reservations center on grand metaphysical theology, which I find poorly founded and sterile. My greatest interest today is the faithful celebration of the Lord’s Supper, and my greatest concern is that this topic does not seem to greatly concern the leaders of the Church. I have published a series of books for popular audiences on the Bible (Genesis, Exodus, Numbers, Leviticus); several on Jesus, the Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, some biographies, and a lengthy work on the Church and its problems (‘Four Trojan Horses in the City of God’, which will be published soon). I am happy to collaborate with Feadulta with my weekly comments on the Sunday readings.
