Yahveh Sebaot will prepare for all peoples in this mountain a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wines—rich food full of marrow, and refined wines of the finest vintage. In this mountain, he will destroy the veil that is spread over all peoples, the sheet that is woven over all nations; he will swallow up death forever.

ISAIAH 25:6-10
Yahveh Sebaot will prepare for all peoples in this mountain a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wines—rich food full of marrow, and refined wines of the finest vintage. In this mountain, he will destroy the veil that is spread over all peoples, the sheet that is woven over all nations; he will swallow up death forever.
Yahveh Elohim will wipe away tears from all faces, and the disgrace of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Yahveh has spoken.
It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is Yahveh; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
For the hand of Yahveh will rest on this mountain.

PHILIPPIANS 4:12-20
I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
It contains one of Paul’s most famous phrases: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me,” which shows how Paul felt in his life the power of the Spirit that helped him overcome so many difficulties.
Moreover, the text has nothing to do with the central message of the other two readings.
