The old walls of San Benito testified to new communion once again. The future of peace and brotherhood among the peoples and the Credos, just as in so many planetary corners, disembarked at its feet. The color, joy, and diversity of tomorrow became evident once more next to the formerly austere monastic building. Twelve landings have already been added, and we wanted to rest, but we do not know if such overflowing hearts will allow us to cross our arms.
The fault lay with that Galician soul who ran from Lugo to sing to us (“Our soul sings”) so softly in the ear, that led us to summits of supreme unknown union. Responsibility is also shared with some speakers and facilitators who gave themselves entirely, who brought out all their cotton wool, ointments, key thoughts, and other resources to “heal the wound.” The fault rests equally with those more than three hundred souls who left behind balls and whistles and brought their prayer on their lips, their will to add in the inner altar.
After the presentations by the representatives, the wounds in small groups were aired and revealed more easily. We have learned to share the sore, and to that extent we have been able to feel, if possible, more strongly united. With the afflictions ventilated, the song gained more spirit, the dances more strength, the walks more awareness and gratitude…
The Foro Espiritual de Estella also wants to keep walking…, contributing to a world of wounds that are already personal, already collective, increasingly healed, to an increasingly united, just, and fraternal planet.
