I give you the keys

To you I hand over the keys:

in your hands I place the entire creation,

also my Kingdom, my illusions,

and my trust and Father’s word.

I make you gatekeeper of hopes and projects

so that you feel free and responsible.

Keys to open closed doors,

hard and unsolidaristic hearts

and all fabricated secrets.

Keys to distribute the goods of the earth,

everything I put forth and produces,

without you feeling like a thief of estates.

Keys to show all the treasures

of chests, trunks, and libraries,

and be able to take out the good things.

Keys to make known

the mysteries of science

and untangle consciences.

Keys to open what others close

–banks, factories, borders, and Churches–,

perhaps your house, your yard, your account.

Keys to enter prisons,

remove obstacles, release chains,

annul shackles, know dungeons.

Keys to forgive barbarities,

remove fears and guilt

and walk upright and without prostrations.

Keys so that no one finds

the doors of their path closed

even in dark night.

Keys to undo laws,

mandates, edicts, and norms

of lords, chiefs, and tyrants.

Keys to free those who feel

that they have closed doors

and life is made and planned.

Keys to be able to go out into the world

so that it gives you sun and breeze

and removes the scab you carry on top.

Keys so that no one barricades themselves

and seeks refuge in your corners

when they have harmed the poorest.

Keys so that the unwise

do not waste time complaining,

and can enter even if they arrive late.

Keys so that you can always,

to whoever arrives on time or out of season,

teach your entrails and welcome them.

Keys to open wounds

–in the body, in the soul, in structures–

and thus be able to heal them.

Keys to care for and show

the good news, my house,

my treasures of Father and Mother.

To you I hand over the keys;

but look at the faces seventy times seven

before believing you a judge, cleric, or chief.
