Darkness is synonymous with confusion and, ultimately, with “death”: we experience it when we feel lost, without references, barely driven by routines or empty automatisms. In such a state, we reduce ourselves to “getting by,” pursuing well-being that is within our reach and trying to minimize the discomfort that arises.
And yet, no matter how much we have made this our way of life, no matter how much we have remained deaf to the voice that cries out within us or even shielded ourselves from it, no one can deny the presence within themselves of a Longing for light, capable of illuminating, ordering, and guiding the path that leads to unification and harmony.
That path -from shadows to light- is none other than the path of self-knowledge and self-acceptance, which allows us to become familiar with all our truth and make peace with it. As we decide to travel it, it becomes clear to us that the light already dwells within us, even if we have never noticed it. To perceive it, we need to quiet the mind and, thanks to the silence of so many voices that have usually occupied our entire field of consciousness, access that place of peace, always available, which is also the place of light and the source of a unified, integrated, harmonious life, and unfolded towards others.
