17th sunday of ordinary time

Brothers and sisters, treasure and pearl refer to the Kingdom of God; Jesus provokes us, challenges us, and invites us to take a stand. Let us pray.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

May the Church remind us that encountering the project of the Kingdom requires us to review our way of being, acting, and positioning ourselves in life.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

May parish and religious communities be safe, fraternal, just, solidary, compassionate, and humanizing spaces.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

May all of us realize that betting on the Kingdom implies a change and a commitment in our way of being, doing, acting, thinking, valuing, always for the benefit of a more solidary and fraternal society.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

May we succeed in discovering and living the call to be builders of the Kingdom as our greatest treasure, as that call to take care of our best pearl.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

May we be men and women who live happily, feeling fulfilled, distinguishing ourselves by the scale of values that guides our life and leaving a footprint of Jesus on the paths of our lives.

May we live the faith with joy and gratitude

Good Mother Father, our pearl is the faith; our field: the world, and our mission: to announce Jesus as Good News.
