Twenty years ago, on June 2nd, this uncensored portal opened its doors to the world, to update the faith. It is time to thank you for your interest and constancy. Without you, all our effort would be meaningless. Those constant letters of thanks have driven us since the first steps in 2006 with Rafael and Conchita.
I want to briefly recall here the milestones we have passed through. In 2010, the Editorial published its first book, Las cartas de José Arregi, which was a great success. In 2012, we made the leap to a professional website thanks to the support of the Comunidad de José Enrique Galarreta. In 2015, we premiered the EFFA School thanks to Gonzalo Haya’s dedication. Shortly after, we sadly said goodbye to the web promoter and created a Team of volunteers to take over his intense work. This year, 2026, we have achieved three great improvements: we print books in several Latin American countries, we have a renewed online store, and soon we will premiere a new feadulta portal.
We want this Anniversary to be a “burst of enthusiasm” to continue evolving. As Fray Marcos always says, either we grow or we diminish. Let’s go for another 20 years growing with your help!

Gospel and Commentary on the Gospel
Jn 6, 51-58. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread your fathers ate and died; whoever eats this bread will live forever.
Miguel Ángel Munárriz Casajús: Truths and beliefs. To love and serve in everything.
José Luis Sicre: The manna and the bread of life. This feast, which began to be celebrated in Belgium in 1246, aims to promote devotion to the Eucharist and publicly confess the real presence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine.
Enrique Martínez Lozano: To be bread. In the so-called “last supper,” Jesus presents himself through the eloquent image of bread: “This is my body” (= “this am I,” according to the translation that seems most accurate).
Fray Marcos: I am bread that is broken and shared. Without giving oneself, there can be no Christian life.
José Antonio Pagola: The new Sunday. Sunday is no longer what it was a few years ago. In a short time, it has grown and become the “weekend,” which starts already on Friday afternoon and in which most people can live differently, escaping from work obligations, imposed schedules, and daily routine.
Fidel Aizpurúa Donazar: He who devours this bread will live by me. To identify with Jesus, one must passionately devour the values of the gospel, those we all know (peace, forgiveness, compassion, generosity, love…).
Rosario Ramos: He dwells in us and nourishes us. This discourse of Jesus spirals until it reaches what the human being is in his essential nature: Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me, and I in him; that is to say, the deepest part of who we are is made up of a permanent exchange between humanity and Divinity.

The pontiff recognizes that this technology will represent a “valuable help” to humanity but warns that in no case can it replace humans and that it must be built and regulated with ethical values, avoiding “technocratic” dominance logics.

In a time when competition can turn into empty rivalry and exclusion leaves many out, it is important to rediscover the true meaning of sport as a school of fraternity, respect, and solidarity. In this month’s prayer, the Holy Father invites us to pray “for the values of sport” so that “sport may be a universal language that brings cultures and peoples closer, and sows respect, solidarity, and personal improvement.”
