I was born on March 31st in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. I am married and have two sons, one of whom is already married and currently lives in Seattle, WA. I consider myself a passionate woman about everything related to personal development and growth. Ignatian spirituality has been a guiding light for me since childhood. I studied with the nuns of the Sacred Heart. I have had teachers like Florencio Mezzacassa and José María Mardones, and I have studied some theology and Christology. Professionally, I studied Communication in Monterrey, followed by a postgraduate degree at the Catholic University of Leuven. For some time, I worked as an external consultant for companies in the communication field while teaching at the University of Monterrey. In the early 1990s, I entered the world of Human Development and completed a two-year diploma at the Iberoamerican University, followed by a master’s degree. Since then, I have dedicated my ‘life of service’ through Grupo Encuentro to bringing the two-year diploma to neighborhoods and communities with very limited economic resources in Monterrey and Saltillo, offering them tools for their personal development and growth. I also collaborate with two growth groups, one for young people and another for adults, at the Loyola Cultural Center in Monterrey. Currently, I continue my training through workshops to enhance my skills in accompaniment within the field of Human Development.
