I was born in Pardesivil, León, in 1938. My mother died when I was just one year old. My family had come to nothing. Hunger was a faithful companion until I was ten years old, when I found myself serving a master. It was my first liberation. I could get up from the table with my hunger satisfied, thanks to my personal effort. A kind lady from Madrid took care of the expenses, and I went to the Dominican seminary. It was my second liberation. The novitiate, Philosophy, and Theology passed without much ado. My first assignment was at a school in Oviedo, but I did not like teaching, and as soon as I could, I moved to Madrid to study Fine Arts. There I found my third liberation. The daily interaction with restless young people, ten years younger than me, opened me up to a new way of seeing the world. From there, I landed in Parquelagos, where I have been for a whopping 38 years. Here, my true life as a priest began. The fourth and definitive liberation came to me with a serious traffic accident. 20 days in a coma, 72 days in the ICU, five months in the hospital, 1.30 meters of scars. In Parquelagos, a community has been forming that does not let me fall asleep. Without realizing it, I have been drawn into the world of the Internet.
